Ana looks gorgeous in her nightgown ! I had similar ones as a kid and I felt like a girl from "the house on the prairie"...

She looks like a little elf; beautiful. I really enjoy reading your blog and learning and especially seeing Malawi and what everyday life is like there. Thank you so much!

Hi,
Your pictures are beautiful!
I have a home daycare and would love to hang them in the room. Is there anyway I can purchase a few from you?....the ones of the kids playing and jumping off the dock. If no, I understand...
I also love your craft ideas. I found you on Crafty Crow. We have done the salt. Great!

Lauren

Gorgeous gown and girl. It looks like you took a photo of a kid in Never Never Land.

Julie

She looks like an angel!

Lucky you to have your mom for a visit (I think she's visiting with Dr. & Mrs. Johnson as I write this)! I had a lovely evening of tea and conversation with her when she was visiting on Vancouver Island a few months ago. And I had a lovely lunch and meeting with Simon's Mom, Jane, this week (as we begin the heartbreaking wrap-ups and goodbyes for Maxwell School). Have a wonderful July.

What a beautiful little girl you have there! I hope you have a wonderful visit with your mum.

Sending lots of love from the other side of the world!

The dress and the girl in it are just so lovely. I love that feel of light cool cotton on summer skin. I had to read through the comments on the ballon toy post and it was clear to those of us who know your heart from reading your blog often that you, of all people, would not be disparaging to a country and people that you love. I hope you did not take those comments to heart.
I have an old friend whose wife made him one of those flour filled ballons and after a day of some particularly vigorous stress squeezing at work, it exploded all over his face. It still makes me laugh!
