I am finding it so interesting to see how much things change from week to week.
This morning, poor Ana woke up with a super high fever. I set her up on the couch, with plenty of tissues and fluids and things to read. Bella and Asher moved their puzzles and books and valentine-card-writing in, just to be close. I don't think any of this was conscious; it is simply their sense of wanting to care for her and helping her feel comforted and tended to as she drifts in and out of sleep. As a mum, it's these little things that fill my heart.

That's so very beautiful. I hope Anna gets well. I too enjoy moments like that,as a mom sometimes they are a rare treat.
