I thought I might try joining Jodi in posting a portrait of my children each week this year. I've no idea if this will stick or not, but there's no way to find out other than trying it and seeing how it goes. Some weeks photos are thin on the ground indeed.
Ana: She spends much of her time bent over her biology work these days. She is excited to be moving into ecology and animal sciences now.
Bella: She's away today, so I had to take one from the archives. When she is feeling content, there is no better company.
Asher: Often we go on a walk, just the two of us, to the top of the hill. It is one of my most treasured things, walking and chatting and watching him be still and full.
beautiful photos, beautiful children

Popped over here after following your link over at the 52 project. Your photo of Asher really caught my eye. It is lovely to find these beautiful photos of your older kids. I too am attempting to document our weeks this year after a slow year where i seemed to have lost my bogging mojo.

If you can, you should continue with these portraits es pecially while they are growing and changing so rapidly. I love this idea and the photos. This one of Asher is so precious, as he is. I enjoyed, too, the black and white profiles. They will certainly be treasured by them later in life. Keep it up, if you can.
