You know, I have never really understood Halloween. Oh well.
Asher and Ana had homework on Halloween night. What?! How can a teacher do that? I do not understand. As if I didn't have enough issues with homework aready....
However, if you dress as a house-elf, perhaps you actually like doing your homework.
Asher was very pleased with his pillow case costume. His best friend dressed up as Harry Potter and they went trick or treating together. Then they spent the rest of the evening handing out candy, which they liked even more. That way they got to make people happy by giving them sweets and complimenting them on their costumes.
Or so I've been told-- the girls and I stayed home and watched a Harry Potter movie. That seems about right to me.
sounds good. ours was a bit anti-climactic, too. which works for me.
have a lovely weekend,

No elves or wizards here . Next Saturday we'll have some lantern-carrying singers , celebrating the feast of St. Martin , instead .
But we did have pumpkin soup .
