I am very happy today to be able to host a giveaway for Kyrie, the inimitable Mama behind Mama Mead's. Perhaps I am especially happy because the giveaway involved getting to sample the goods for myself. Ahem.
In any case, Kyrie has just opened her baking business to the public, and her goods are just what one would expect: meticulously crafted to the highest standard, with great attention paid to each and every detail from flavour to presentation. They are also (although this is rather beside the point to some of us, but deeply important to others of us) completely gluten free. It has been great fun to watch her undertake this journey of starting a business doing something she so obviously loves. And of course peeking in on her four sweet girls is irresistable as well.
She is generously offering one lucky reader a sample box that includes caramel sea-salt brownies (Simon's favourite), everything cookies (my Mum's favourite), ginger molasses cookies (my favourite), peanut butter cookies (Asher's favourite) and granola (well, everyone likes that). Unfortunately, due to the perishable nature of the baked goods, she can only ship within the USA.
So, if you do reside within the USA, by all means leave a comment below in order to be entered, and my lovely assistants and I will randomly select a winner on Tuesday. You will not be sorry (until, like Simon, you realise there are no more brownies left).
Gluten-free! This IS important to us. Thanks for the chance to win and best wishes to Kyrie with her business.

My husband is gluten sensitive and it is so difficult to find (or make) baked goods that taste passable. I'm not even talking good! How wonderful to know of a place that sells great gluten free things.

Everything sounds delicious! I'd love to try it.
The beach photos are just lovely. I lived for a year in Coos Bay, right across the street from the ocean and within sight of the Cape Arago lighthouse. I've been in the Mid-Atlantic for a decade now, and I still miss Oregon every day.

Those look so good! And waiting to see if I've won a box of goodies is much more fun than fielding calls from relatives asking if I've had the baby yet.
